Ethnically Greek, culturally Japanese, Mikos was born in Washington DC, subsequently leaving with his adoptive mother for her homeland, Japan. He spent his early years in Kumamoto, with his extended family.

The first words out of his mouth were Japanese and upon relocating to the States, picked up English as his second language.

After playing music as a guitar and bass player, he decided to pursue his long awaited dream of acting after the dot commer he worked for tanked like an iron surfboard.

Vegas was the next step to gear up financially for the move to LA. He landed a role as Capt. Taylor in "A Soldier's Play". Shortly after, he attended the notorious Second City improv classes, collecting skills to add to his acting repertoire.

He then moved to LA and formed NoRemake Pictures with his friend and collaborator JT Mollner.

NoRemake Pictures has filmed the short "Sunday Evening" and has recently completed a 35mm project entitled "The Red Room", written by JT Mollner and entering the festival circuit, including the SoCal Independent Film Festival.

Mikos continues to hone his craft in LA, the gobal home of film makers and actors. He currently studies with the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts.
